What does Ihsaan mean?

إحسان

أَنْ تَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ كَأَنَّكَ تَرَاهُ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ تَرَاهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَرَاكَ

Ihsaan (إحسان) means excellence in worship. In the Hadith of Jibril, the Prophet ﷺ described it as worshipping Allah as though you see Him — and knowing that even if you do not see Him, He sees you. Sahih al-Bukhari 50, Sahih Muslim 8

Ihsaan is built around that intention: steady, sincere worship, carried out with care, day after day.

Everything you track, in one quiet place

From the five daily prayers to the Sunnah you’re working toward, Ihsaan keeps your worship organized and easy to log.

  1. Five daily prayers

Log Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha as on time, late, or missed. Prayer times are calculated right on your iPhone, and Jumu’ah has its own place on Fridays.

  2. Quran

Record your reading or listening in minutes or pages. Ihsaan also keeps Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays and Surah Al-Mulk each night.

Designed to encourage, not to judge

No leaderboards, badges, or points. Voluntary worship is never labeled a failure — a day you didn’t log is simply a day not logged. Ihsaan is quiet by design, so your attention stays on your worship, not on the app.

Your worship stays between you and Allah

Your entries are private to your account. Ihsaan never sells your data and doesn’t track you across other apps or websites. Prayer times are calculated on your device, and your entries sync securely, so they’re there when you move to a new iPhone.
